Longer words and sentences

So I’m Hanna, known also as Spämi by some people. I was born 1986 on a very cold day in the end of the December, somewhere in the middle of the Finland. Nowadays I live in a city next to Helsinki in a small flat with two roomies. Definitely not a place (house nor the city) where I’d like to spend rest of my life. I’m studying to become as a radiographer. It’s not quite what I want but well at least I’ll have one profession. We’ll see what I do after that.

Egoist

On the other hand nothing is more fun than talking about yourself but because I have also modest side (I’m Finnish after all), I also find it almost too selfish. Well I considering having pretty good self-esteem. I’m happy with my mind and body, I like myself. This doesn’t change the fact that I’m also very shy around new people.

Language

I think it’s good to mention that English isn’t my mother tongue. I live in Finland, it’s a small girl shaped country in Northern Europe between Sweden and Russia (it’s not a state of USA even though it’s almost same size as Montana). We don’t speak English but a very bizarre language called Finnish (here little example, which should be the most beautiful Finnish sentence “Alavilla mailla hallan vaara”, free translation goes there’s a danger of frost on low lands). I have studied English since I was 8 years old, but my English is far from perfect. But thanks to subtitled tv-series and movies, rock music and of course the school I’m completely impregnated with this language. And that’s why I write mostly in English.

Other than that I have studied three years French (I’m not very good, I barely dare to say my name and run fast away). German I had for two years when I was 11-12 and I have just started studying it again. And because Finland is bilingual country I have had my fair share of Swedish lessons too (6 years).

Whenever you see grammar/spelling mistakes, you’re welcome to let me know.

Love

Jo – I don’t blabber much about my friends/family in my blog except of course about Jo. He is my man (we’re not married – yet – but I rather call him man than boyfriend). We have quite long history together, we were good friends long before we ended up here where we are now. So Jo’s probably the best thing ever happened to me (he’s on the same line with seeing David Bowie and Depeche Mode -gigs). He’s bizarre but that fits perfectly to me, not to mention his absolutely fabulous music taste.

Music – Hmm, thinking it again. I have a religion, it’s rock music. I have a little record collection that I love very much and music taste of 30+ man. List contains e.g. David Bowie, Velvet Underground, Roxy Music, Depeche Mode, Lou Reed, Kent etc. I couldn’t live without my cd’s or mp3 player. One more or less unpleasant side effect of this little hobby is fanaticism and judging people according their music taste.

Laptop – I was finally forced to give up my old computer, it died. My new love is Acer Aspire 3103WLMi with Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon 7.10. Surely not the best laptop in the world but it’s doing what it’s supposed to do (and it doesn’t crash every ten minute).

As mentioned earlier rock is my religion and I have bad habit of judging people according their music taste. But what is good music then, according me? Here is the answer. Not in any special order emo .
