2008-30-05 Snoring...
My last day in the practical was nice. I give a small card to nurses with who I had been last four weeks. And I have admit that in future working in cancer clinic… well it wouldn’t be bad idea
. I guess I’m brainwashed, as one of the nurses started every second sentence with words “When you’re working here…” .
I kind of liked the longer patient contact, that you can have, when you’re giving radiation therapy.
I had even some plans for today. I was going to celebrate the last day in some way.
- Going to listen to M.A. Numminen and Pedro Hietanen to Storyville (a jazz bar in Helsinki).
- Going to listen to MIR (singer of the band is apparently a radiographer).
- Staying at home and cleaning.
Well I ended up staying at home. Actually I was sleeping whole day after I came home around 2 p.m.. I was in the middle of tweaking Moonthology, when I suddenly felt so tired that I had to go to bed. I would like to add that I don’t think I snored (I may talk while sleeping and make cute noises but I don’t snore
). And I pretty much slept till Jo called me, asking where I was. :/
On Monday starts my summer job and I’ll be working untill 10th August. On 11th I was thinking to fly to Germany
.

I really admire anyone who can work in the health care industry… it’s so hard and it takes so much out of you. Esp when you’re dealing w/ cancer patients. so i’m very impressed! what’s your new summer job going to be?
^I’m assisting radiologists who do sonographies. Basically it’s taking patient in, giving instruments to doctor (if necessary). Keeping things in order, giving times to patients, computer stuff. It’s quite nice but also busy.
